Insured delivery

Within Germany, your furniture is not delivered by an anonymous freight company but by our own drivers in our own truck – carefully packed and insured. In Berlin we carry it into your home; elsewhere in Germany we deliver to the curbside. If needed, the driver is happy to lend a hand. Deliveries to other European countries are handled by a freight company specialising in antiques, also insured.

Before delivery, we call you to arrange a 2-hour time window. Please provide your mobile number when ordering. Additional costs may apply for deliveries to islands.

Do you have a special delivery request? Feel free to contact us personally.

30-day return policy

You have a 30-day right of return: if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the piece in unchanged condition within 30 days of receipt.

A short message is all it takes – on request, we will organise the return transport with our own drivers. We offset the transport costs against the refund, and you will promptly receive the remaining purchase price.

The German Workshops Hellerau in Dresden are among the most important furniture makers in German design history. Their furniture from the 1950s and 1960s is now highly sought-after Mid-Century design classics. At Hauptstadt Möblerei, you’ll find a changing selection of Hellerau cabinets, sideboards, dressers, display cabinets, shelving units and desks, all original pieces restored in our Berlin workshop.

Model 602: the modular range based on designs by Franz Ehrlich, featuring cabinets, display cabinets, sideboards, and tables.
